About Our Veterinarians

James P. Waller, Jr., D.V.M., a native of Orlando, Florida, graduated from Florida State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Chemistry minor. Upon graduation he moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated with honors in 1996 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the FVMA and AVMA. Dr. Waller has worked at Citrus Animal Clinic since 1997 and has been the owner since 2002. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, two dogs and two cats. His hobbies include spending time with family and friends, playing golf, outdoor activities, and reading.

Jennifer H. Waltman, D.V.M., a native of Sebring, Florida, graduated from Florida State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with Chemistry and Physics minors. Upon graduation she moved to Alabama to attend the Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 2000 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the FVMA and AVMA. Dr. Waltman worked in Lakeland for many years before moving home and has worked at Citrus Animal Clinic since 2007. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and Boston Terrier . Her hobbies include spending time with family, scrapbooking, and movies.
